Configuring MMS Setting for Motorola V3 (GSM)

The following are the MMS setting for AT&T and T-Mobile.
 

AT&T Setting
 
APN Setup
  1. Go to the Main Menu
  2. Press Menu
  3. Select Web Access
  4. Note that this may be located elsewhere, such as under Settings or Settings > Tools
  5. Select Web Sessions
  6. Select New Entry
  7. If no new entries are available, delete one of existing profiles or edit one
  8. For the Profile Name enter in the ATT MMS
  9. For the Homepage enter in http://mmsc.cingular.com
  10. Set Service Type 1 to HTTP
  11. For the Gateway IP 1 enter in 10.250.250.55
  12. This option may be listed as Proxy
  13. For the Port 1 enter in 8080
  14. For the Domain 1 to (leave blank)
  15. Set the Timeout to 15 Minutes
  16. For the GPRS APN enter in wap.cingular
  17. For the Username enter in WAP@CINGULAR.COM
  18. For the Password enter in CINGULAR1
  19. Press Done to save the entry
Picture Messaging Setup
  1. Go to the Main Menu
  2. Select Messages
  3. Select Message Inbox
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Setup
  6. Select MMS Message Setup (Multimedia Msg Setup)
  7. Select Server Info
  8. Press Menu and select New Entry or Add
  9. Note that if there are three entries already listed, one or more entries must be deleted first
  10. To delete a desired entry, select Menu and select Delete. If unable to delete, perform a Master Reset and start again.
  11. For the Service Name enter ATT MMS
  12. For the Server Name enter http://mmsc.cingular.com
  13. Set the Web Session Name to the MMS Profile created above
  14. Select Save or Done
  15. Highlight the profile
  16. Press Menu and select Set Default
  17. Test the settings by sending and retrieving a Picture Message.

T-Mobile Setting
 
APN Setup
 
  1. Go to the Main Menu
  2. Press Menu
  3. Select Web Access
  4. Note that this may be located elsewhere, such as under Settings or Settings > Tools
  5. Select Web Sessions
  6. Select New Entry
  7. If no new entries are available, delete one of existing profiles or edit one
  8. For the Profile Name enter in the T-Mobile MMS
  9. For the Homepage enter in http://wap.t-zones.com
  10. Set Service Type 1 to HTTP
  11. For the Gateway IP 1 enter in 216.155.165.50
  12. This option may be listed as Proxy
  13. For the Port 1 enter in 8080
  14. For the Domain 1 to (leave blank)
  15. Set the Timeout to 15 Minutes
  16. For the GPRS APN enter in wap.voicestream.com
  17. For the Username enter in (leave blank)
  18. For the Password enter in (leave blank)
  19. Press Done to save the entry
Picture Messaging Setup
  1. Go to the Main Menu
  2. Select Messages
  3. Select Message Inbox
  4. Press Menu
  5. Select Setup
  6. Select MMS Message Setup (Multimedia Msg Setup)
  7. Select Server Info
  8. Press Menu and select New Entry or Add
  9. Note that if there are three entries already listed, one or more entries must be deleted first
  10. To delete a desired entry, select Menu and select Delete. If unable to delete, perform a Master Reset and start again.
  11. For the Service Name enter T-Mobile MMS
  12. For the Server Name enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
  13. Set the Web Session Name to the MMS Profile created above
  14. Select Save or Done
  15. Highlight the profile
  16. Press Menu and select Set Default
  17. Test the settings by sending and retrieving a Picture Message.
