 My Blackberry shows a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) error, such as 543. What should I do?
Article To resolve the issue, you may reload the phone's software:

1. Install the Blackberry desktop software on your PC. You may find it from the "Downloads" section of our support page: Downloads » Blackberry » Blackberry Desktop Manager (all models)

During installation, make sure you choose the option "Blackberry Internet service" if you are not planning to connect the Blackberry to Blackberry Enterprise Server
2. Install the handheld software (Application Loader) on your PC. According to the model, you may also find it from the "Downloads" section of our support page: Downloads » Blackberry » (Your Blackberry Model)
3. Plug the Blackberry to the PC with the included USB cable
4. Run Blackberry Desktop Manager on your PC, go to Options and select "connection settings"
5. Select USB PIN
6. Select the application loader icon.
7. Select all software you want installed.
8. Proceed to the end portion until you see the "Finish" button.
9. Very IMPORTANT. do not hit the finish button, instead select the ADVANCED button.
10. Make sure both boxes are checked.
11. Proceed until it asks you if you want to automatically back up and restore. Select DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY BACK UP MY HANDHELD.
12. Once the process starts. take care not to bump out the cord or battery. The process will take a few minutes.
